Let’s face it, most of us believe that professional success and personal success with it. In other words, we become in our career. We also bring our personal behaviors and family to work, causing many of the same conflicts we have at home. The number one skill that will improve both personal and professional life is good communication. What we have to say is not important if we are not able to be heard. The following are tips to help create good communication skills: Listen with an open mind.

Focus on what the person is saying and body language used. Put all your energy into thinking this is the most important place to be in this moment and this is the most important person in the world. (The person who is talking with the desire to feel important. This effort will help maintain positive communication) Reply with phrases honest, open and sincere. Paraphrasing helps the recipient understand your thought process and gives and opportunity to test your own listening skills.

Speak clearly. Keep your voice level, sharp and clear to make sure you are heard. Be proactive. Listening, empathy, objective information. Submit a solution only if it is required of you. Remember that communication is about you that is about them. Watch your body language. How do you feel while this conversation is reflected in their body language. Show your interest by leaning forward when listening. Do not cross your legs or arms. Look not independent or disinterested. Eye contact is very important. Listen and learn. When you hear that they are learning how people feel, how they express themselves. Once you learn how a person thinks and feels, they are more able to communicate with them. “There is more than a verbal tie between the words common, community and communication ….
